Progress meeting of EU project Nanobloc(R) (online)
The research in progress meeting (M18) of the EU (Horizon Europe) project Nanobloc(R) (ANTIVIRAL, ANTIBACTERIAL & ANTIFUNGAL NANOCOATING PLATFORM) took place on 10th June 2024 online. Ms Zoya Hadzhieva (PhD student) and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the meeting. The project is coordinated by Prof. Monica Ferraris from Polytechnic of Turin and our Institute is responsible for the production of sol-gel derived and electrophoretic antibacterial coatings. All academic and industrial project partners attended the meeting and discussed the current progress and future work on novel coatings for antibacterial and antiviral applications. Our Institute will host the next annual project meeting in Erlangen at the end of 2024. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme under grant agreement nr. 101057597.
