Visit of engineering students from Colombia
On 13th June we received the visit of 15 students from the School of Metallurgy Engineering from Industrial University of Santander (Universidad Industrial de Santander), Colombia, coordinated by Prof. Carlos Andrés Galán Pinilla. The students attended presentations on biomaterials by Prof. A. R. Boccaccini, Dr. R. Detsch and Marcela Arango (PhD student). They also observed experiments in our laboratories, specifically electrospinning and MEW, demonstrated by Sena Harmanci (PhD student) and 3D bioprinting, demonstrated by Hsuan-Heng Lu (PhD student). The students visited also other Institutes of our Department. The visit was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
