Visiting of Biomedical Engineering students from Colombia
On 25th June we received the visit of 10 Biomedical Engineering students from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Cali, Colombia, led by Prof. Hernán Darío Vargas Cardona. The students attended presentations on biomaterials by Prof. A. R. Boccaccini, Dr. R. Detsch, Dr. Qaisar Nawaz and Dr. Irem Unalam. They also observed experiments in our laboratories, specifically on 3D bioprinting, demonstrated by Jonas Roeder (PhD student). The visit was coordinated by Marcela Arango (PhD student) and concluded with a brief cultural program about Colombia offered by the visiting students.
