Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini chaired FEMS Board Meeting and General Assembly in Manchester, UK
The Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS) Board meeting and General Assembly took place in the frame of the FEMS Junior Euromat conference in Manchester, UK, and in hybrid form. Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, FEMS President for the period 24/25 chaired the Board meeting on 15th July attended by all Board members, from 10 different EU countries. Moreover, FEMS General Assembly was held on 16th July and representatives of all active affiliated national societies were presented, in presence or online. Two key points discussed were the positive development of the FEMS official journal, the “European Journal of Materials (EJM)” and the organization of the next major FEMS Conference, EUROMAT 2025, to be held in Granada, Spain, in September 2025.
