End of Summer Term 2024
The end of the Summer Term 2024 was marked by the traditional Summer BBQ of the Institute of Biomaterials, which took place on 23rd July 2024. Most members of the Institute, including PhD students, post-docs and permanent staff, in addition to our academic visitors and students, attended this event in Erlangen. In his speech Prof. Boccaccini highlighted the interdisciplinary character of our Institute, the high number of Bachelor and Master students as well as ERASMUS visiting students who come to our Institute every year on a continuous basis. He also remarked the highly international composition of our Institute, which has been maintained over the years: people from 18 nationalities (!) were present. We wish everyone a good summer time!
