Visit of Dr. Behnam Akhavan, University of Newcastle, Australia
Dr. Behnam Akhavan, Head of the Plasma Bio-Engineering Group Laboratory at University of Newcastle, Australia, visited the FAU Institute of Biomaterials on 26th August 2024. Dr. Akhavan presented the invited lecture “Plasma Bio-Engineering: Advancing Biomimetic Devices, Bio-fabrication, and Nanomedicine”. He toured the laboratories of our Institute and discussed with Prof. Boccaccini opportunities for collaborations in the field of surface modification of biomaterials.
