Zhiyan Xu wins Best Student Poster Award for China-EU Collaborative Research at CESB 2024 in Nuremberg
Ms Zhiyan Xu, who is carrying out her doctoral thesis in our Institute under the supervision of Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini has won Best Student Poster presentation award (category: Joint China-EU Collaborative Research) at the 8th China-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine, held in Nuremberg, Germany, on 15-18 September 2024. Zhiyan presented the poster titled: “Manganese chelated polydopamine/bioactive glass composite coating on PEEK surface for bone regeneration”, showcasing the results of our collaboration with Dr. Baiyan Sui from the Department of Dental Materials, Shanghai Biomaterials Research & Testing Center; Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine; College of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University; National Center for Stomatology; National Clinical Research Center for Oral Diseases; Shanghai Key Laboratory of Stomatology, Shanghai, China.
