Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini appointed Associate Editor of Bioactive Materials
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini will serve as Associate Editor of the journal Bioactive Materials (IF = 18.0). Prof. Boccaccini had served as a member of the editorial board of the journal since the establishment of the journal in 2016. “Bioactive Materials” is an international, peer-reviewed journal that covers all aspects of bioactive materials. “Bioactive Materials” has established itself as one of the highly visible journals in the field. It focuses on biomaterials that can adapt to the biological environment, being designed to stimulate and/or direct appropriate cellular and tissue responses, or control interactions with microbiological species. Prof. Boccaccini said: “I am very honoured to have the opportunity to serve the biomaterials community as associate editor of “Bioactive Materials”, one of the most important journals in our field. I thank the Editors-in-Chief Prof. Yufeng Zheng and Prof. Jian Yang and Ms Jessica Wang, publishing director, for the invitation to become associate editor of the journal”.
