Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini: invited speaker at DGM-DKG Bioceramics Working Group meeting in Würzburg
On 15th November, Prof. Boccaccini and several members of our Institute attended at University Hospital Würzburg the meeting of the Working Group “Bioceramics”, a joint activity of the German Ceramic Society (DKG) and the German Society for Materials Science (DGM), currently chaired by Prof. Uwe Gbureck (Univ. of Würzburg). Prof. Boccaccini was one of the invited speakers. He presented the talk: “Bioactive Glasses: a 50 year journey from bone substitution to tissue engineering and ionic medicine”.
