FunGlass School, Scientific Board Meeting and Industrial Board Meeting, online and in-presence in Slovakia
On 11-14 November, Dr. Zoya Hadzhieva and Marcela Arango Ospina (PhD student) attended the Funglass School in Vršatské Podhradie, Slovakia, organized by the Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass (FunGlass), Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, Slovakia (FunGlass EU project, 739566). During this event PhD students and researchers based at FunGlass presented their projects in a series of seminars. Following the FunGlass school, Scientific and Industrial Board meetings took place in which a general overview of the project was done, including discussions on topics such as staff growth and training, the PhD program, project activities, and future collaboration opportunities. The meeting was also attended by board members from advanced partner institutions: Prof. Alicia Durán (CSIC Madrid), Prof. Enrico Bernardo (University of Padua), Prof. Lothar Wondraczek (Jena University) and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini (FAU), along with the management staff and department heads of the FunGlass Centre. The FunGlass EU Project will finish on 31st December 2024.
