Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini chaired FEMS Board and Management Committee Meetings in Granada, Spain
The meetings of the Board and Management Committee (MC) of the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS) took place in the city of Granada, Spain, the city where the 18th European Congress and Exhibition on Advanced Materials and Processes conference (EUROMAT 2025) will be held on 14 – 18 September 2025. Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, FEMS President for the period 24/25, chaired the Board meeting on 19th November, which was attended by Board members from 10 different EU countries. It was great to confirm the excellent progress of the organisation of EUROMAT 2025, as presented by members of the Spanish Society of Materials (SOCIEMAT), including EUROMAT 2025 conference chair, Prof. Rodrigo Moreno, who hosted the visit. One important activity of the MC meeting was the visit to the fantastic venue (Congress Palace of Granada) where EUROMAT 2025 will take place.
