Hannah Kissel and Sena Harmancı (PhD students) visit Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Brazil
Ms. Hannah Kissel and Ms. Sena Harmancı, PhD students in our institute, supervised by Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, visited the Laboratory of Ceramics Processing (ProCer) and the Department of Chemical and Food Engineering (EQA), at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Florianópolis, Brazil, on November 12-20, 2024.
The visit was in the frame of the CAPES/DAAD PROBRAL bilateral project titled “Advanced Manufacturing of Multifunctional Scaffolds: Synthesis, Processing, and Biological Evaluation.”
During this visit, a seminar took place on November 19, 2024, at the Department of Chemical and Food Engineering (EQA), UFSC. Ms. Harmancı and Ms. Kissel gave presentations on “Research Activities at the Institute of Biomaterials/FAU”. UFSC students and alumni who have engaged or will engage in the FAU-UFSC co-supervision (co-tutelle) agreement attended the seminar. We look forward to continue this fruitful collaboration with Prof. Dachamir Hotza (project leader at UFSC) and his colleagues.
