Prof. Boccaccini invited speaker at the Annual Meeting of the Network of Argentinian Scientists (RCAA) in Germany held in Berlin
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended the Annual Meeting of Network of Argentinian Scientists in Germany (Red de Cientificos Argentinos en Alemania), RCAA, held at the EEmbassy of Argentina in Berlin and in hybrid form on 5-6 December 2024. Prof. Boccaccini is the Scientific Coordinator Emeritus of RCAA. The RCAA was established in Nov. 2009 and celebrates this year its 15th anniversary. Prof. Boccaccini was a co-founder of RCAA and member of its Advisory Committee since then. Moreover, he was the Scientific Coordinator of RCAA in the period 2017-2023. The goal of RCAA is to foster research collaborations and scientific interactions between Germany and Argentina and is part of the RAICES program of the Secretary of Innovation, Science, and Technology of Argentina. Prof. Boccaccini was an invited speaker at the event, presenting the talk “The story of RCAA: 15 years”, together with Dr. Silvia Kroyer (Embassy of Argentina in Germany). The Ambassador of Argentina to Germany, Mr Fernando Brun (pictured) attended the meeting as well as the current scientific coordinator, Prof. Andrés Lasagni (TU Dresden) and the technical coordinator Dr. Flavio Soldera (Univ. of Saarland). In addition, the RCAA Annual meeting was organised in combination with the second alumni meeting of the Argentine-German University Center (CUAA / DAHZ).
