Prof. Gustavo Abraham (INTEMA, Mar del Plata, Argentina) visited our Institute
On 9-13 December 2024 we received the visit of Prof. Gustavo Abraham, Head of the Biomedical Polymers Division at National Institute for Materials Research (INTEMA), National University of Mar del Plata (UNMdP), Argentina. We have established a fruitful collaboration with Prof. Abraham in the frame of the IDEAR program funded by theGerman-Argentine University Center (CUAA-DAHZ). The program is in its 8th year and involves the exchange of Master students and principal investigators between UNMdP and our Department. Prof. Abraham presented the seminar “Innovative scaffolding for Tissue Engineering Through Electrospinning”. He also delivered a lecture to our Master (undergraduate) students on “Electrospinning for Implants: An Advanced Fabrication Technique”. Prof. Abraham visited our laboratories and had discussions with the current students from UNMdP visiting our Institute under the I.DEAR program, Camila Cortez and Agustin Agostini (pictured).
