Prof. Boccaccini co-organised FEMS – E-MRS Joint Symposium on Artificial Intelligence in Materials Science & Engineering
Co-organised by the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) and the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS), the Joint E-MRS – FEMS Symposium on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Materials Science & Engineering, was successfully held in Brussels on 23rd January under the Auspices of European Commission DG Research & Innovation Directorate E. With the participation of invited speakers from different European countries, the symposium covered a variety of topics from fundamental science and AI models to applied AI technologies and engineering.
Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini attended as FEMS president 2024/25. Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini said: “I am very happy that we at FEMS have joined forces with our E-MRS colleagues to organize this important event under the auspices of the European Commission DG Research & Innovation Directorate E. It shows our commitment to enter collaborations and partnerships with the key players in Europe for the benefit of our discipline, in this case with a focus on the important and essential sector which is Artificial Intelligence in Materials Science & Engineering.”
