Electrospun poly(glycerol sebacate)(PGS)/poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL) mats for tissue engineering
Betreuer (in Erlangen): Dr.Liliana Liverani, Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini
In the framework of DAAD PPP Poland project entitled „Fabrication and mechanical characterization of electrospun mats for cardiac tissue engineering”, an exchange of students, senior researchers and PIs is being conducted with the Division of Functional Materials and Biomaterials Nanotechnology Centre at West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, led by Prof. Mirosława El Fray. The aim of the project is to fabricate and characterize electrospun poly(glycerol sebacate)(PGS)/poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL) mats, which are designed in terms of composition and structure for cardiac tissue engineering. The experimental activities are being carried out in both laboratories in Erlangen and Szczecin. A previous study based on our collaboration is available [1].
