Silicate bioceramic scaffolds with enhanced functional properties for bone regeneration

This project continues research that started at University of Padova, Italy, on 3D printing of composite bioceramic (silicate) scaﬀolds for bone tissue engineering. The main objective is to evaluate the bioactivity and cellular response of the scaﬀolds through in vitro biological studies, aiming to optimize their properties for bone regeneration applications. The project includes the assessment of cell viability and material performance in contact with biological fluids, as well as investigating potential surface modifications to enhance scaﬀold functionality.
