Design-of-experiments for alternating current electrophoretic deposition of bovine serum albumin on titanium
Mitarbeiter: Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Aldo R. Boccaccini
Alternating current electrophoretic deposition (AC-EPD) can be a valuable tool in increasing the immobilization rate of biomolecules on metal implant surfaces [1,2]. However, a fundamental understanding of how to control the deposition yield is not well understood yet. The current research stay aims at investigating the links between various key AC-EPD parameters on the process performance by implementing a design-of-experiments approach for the AC-EPD of the model biomolecules on titanium. The project is carried out in the framework of a travel grant from FWO-Vlaanderen (K225418N)
